Wayne carried the first wooden crate of test bottles out.

Each crate held twelve of the newly blown dented jugs, their white plastic gleaming in the cold beam of the flashlight.

“They are heavy,” Wayne said, setting the crate down on the truck bed with a soft rattle of plastic against wood. “Six pounds each when they are full of water.”
