Dodds, 64, was killed Sunday outside his home in the 3000 block of 82nd Terrace in Kansas City, Kansas.
Known to generations of listeners as “Uncle Jimmy,” Dodds built a following through his work in sports talk radio and was also a longtime employee of the Wyandotte County Sheriff’s Office.
