Woman suffered ‘scary’ permanent reminder of tanning bed addiction

“I hadn’t [realized] how intense the healing process would be,” she said. “I’d told my work I’d be back the next day as I thought I’d just have a little stitch, but I walked out with a hole in my face.”

Her skin has since healed, but the experience permanently changed the way she thinks about sun exposure.
